We’re excited to show in Munich the second member of the KOSMOS series; the KOSMOS 200. This new fixture joins the KOSMOS 400 with half the output power, equivalent to 1 Kw tungsten fresnel.
This unique LED fresnel fixture with motorised zoom and a true borosilicate glass lens reproduces the beam and the quality of the shading of a genuine tungsten bulb.
KOSMOS are compact, light weight, reliable in all colour modes, fully wireless controllable and plenty of advanced functions to enhance your creative possibilities and speed up your shoots.
Ready to shoot at 100% light output with its integrated plate for external standard camera batteries making this fixture the perfect light for every production needs in location.

We have just recently released the new version of the free VELVET Goya app. The new app includes the easy customisation of the effects in a user-friendly interface. It also improves the controls and the luminaire presets in the projects with faster accesses and functions.

More intensity in VELVET EVO, LIGHT and CYC series
The increase with the original series is significant; up to 48% on the VELVET EVO colour panel, 96% on our VELVET CYC asymmetric lights and 38% on VELVET Light bicolor panels.
The lighting fixtures are the same on the outside but powerful on the inside: same colour reliability, the same robustness, silence and lightness. These lights are able to work 100% with standard batteries. They are VELVET luminaires. (Learn more)
VELVET at the Seminar “Energy efficiency first”
VELVET will be a panellist at the “Energy efficiency first” seminar on Saturday 1 July at 12:45 PM Euro Cine Expo.
Shooting green is not a choice for VELVET. We manufacture durable lights. Our products are designed to be easily repairable, updatable and finally recyclable. Spare parts are available for more than ten years in all our LED lights.
VELVET luminaries are 100% made in our factory at Barcelona. Working with local suppliers and collaborators we generate a lower carbon footprint, minimising the environmental impact of manufacturing. Our factory and offices electricity is supplied by a Green energy provider.
VELVET is one of the pioneers in the LED revolution which allows, among other things, a significant reduction in electricity consumption and a relevant increase in efficiency. Our ratio of lighting per watt is the best in the filming industry and we are constantly evolving.
We are thrilled and honoured to be part of this seminar organised by Green Film Shooting. The conference will focus on the presentation of best practice solutions to limit energy use and avoid hardware obsolescence. Topics range from lights to lenses. The panellists are Fabio De Sisti (De Sisti), Dedo Weigert (Dedo Weigert Film), Anna Piffl (P+S Technik) and Jaime Razkin (VELVET). Birgit Heidsiek, CEO of Green Film Shooting, will moderate the session.
